This patch is a Merit Badge. What does that mean?

On a rare snowy weekend in Portland, in the year 2023, the annual meeting of Patch Patrol known a Patch Patrol Pizza Party Palooza was canceled at the last minute because the venue couldn’t open. A group of hearty individuals, with a lot of pent up patch trading energy refused to hibernate. Instead, they scrambled and found a replacement venue and created their own winter patch wonderland. This merit badge was created for those that slayed the wampa.
