Montana Volunteers – BAON License Plate

BAONPDX – Montana – 100 Years – Aug 13

Based on the 1989 Montana State Centennial license plate. On August 31, 2013, the Portland Thorns defeated the Western New York Flash 2-0 in the NWSL final. This victory is the basis for the August 2013 month and year tags on the “BAONPDX” Thorns-based 1989 plate patch. The state of Montana began reissuing the 1989 plate in 2012. Supporters in Montana donated the cost of creating and shipping the patch so that all proceeds could be donated to the Montana Special Olympics.
