Fields for All – Rwanda

This patch is part of a fundraising effort through the Timbers and Thorns Stand Together program.

We are excited to partner with African Road, a Portland based non-profit, for the 2020 Fields For All Rwanda project build.  All proceeds from the Fields For All scarf and patch will go to supporting two community led initiatives at the Togetherness Cooperative Soccer field in Rwanda.  The two programs are known as the Chicken/Rabbit Project and the Women’s Scholarship project. The Chicken/Rabbit Project provides families with a chicken or rabbit to raise while learning self-sufficiency and entrepreneurship skills. The scholarship program will help fund a local women’s soccer coach and promote gender equality programs at the field.
