Based off the Paul Bunyan state in the Kenton neighborhood of Portland. During the 2015 playoffs the statue had a green and white striped scarf added to it. Patch sets came with stickers of the same graphic too.

There were at least 3 patches produced with the wrong color thread used for Paul’s primary skin color. These are referred to as “Sunburned Paul”

Part of the proceeds from the patch went to the restoration fund, and eventually it came to the attention of (Timber) Jim Serrill who is on the restoration board. The board asked if they could use a less soccer-specific version for a separate fundraiser. You can buy stickers of that design at the Green Zebra grocery in the Kenton neighborhood.
