Nostromo Officers: PTFC North End

Called the Nostromo because it is based off the patches worn by the crew of the spaceship Nostromo in the movie Alien. The number matches a date of our MLS Cup win. Also available in an enlisted version.

When deciding what to sew all of my patches on to, I thought wouldn’t it be cool to have a coat from the original Alien movie. With a little research, I discovered that there was a patch created for the movie. I adapted the design to include: PTFC Northend, the date the Timbers won the cup, a star for our cup win, the large planet became an old-school football, the ringed planet became a log slice, and the cloud became green goal smoke. The patches were mailed out in envelops with the Weyland-Yutan Corp. “Building Better Worlds” logo from the Alien movies.
