This s a curious patch that may be a bootleg, or just plain old and poor quality. Notice the mismatched size of the inner green circle and the crooked “M” in Timbers. The edges are rough, suggesting it may have been sewn on something at one time, but the back is definitely old-style construction appropriate for the NASL era, and has no residue from glue. This patch is likely an old bootleg or just old and poorly made.
