Straight from the horse’s mouth:
Created by popular demand from Patch Patrol folks, based on the “Saint Valeri” 2-stick painted in 2016 by the PTFC Moderates crew. Valeri was uncomfortable with the Catholic imagery of the original 2-stick – the man is far too humble to consider himself a saint! We worked extensively (via text message) to alter wording and imagery to come up with something more in line with his Christian values – and he loved the result. Interesting to compare the two pieces of artwork and spot the differences.
This patch was a 2018 Patchy Award winner for Patch of the Year.
