This patch was part of the Argentina Package meant to celebrate the Argentinian contribution to the Portland Timbers Football Club.

From the Producer:

I wanted to combine the Argentina flag with a symbolic image of the Timbers Army to show the love of the PTFC supporters for the players from Argentina. This places the flag in the center background and the sun from the flag over a sunflower.
